Good
Fellowship Ambulance Club (GFAC) is an emergency medical service
that covers nine municipalities including the Borough of West
Chester, the townships of West Goshen, Westtown, East Bradford,
West Bradford, West Whiteland, Thornbury, Birmingham and Newlin.
Our Mission:
To provide
emergency medical services to anyone in need in our greater West
Chester service area. Further, Good Fellowship will provide
first aid, CPR and other safety-related educational programs to
the community, as well as provide trained qualified personnel to
other Chester County emergency service organizations through our
EMS Training Institute.

Good Will Fire Company celebrates
175th Anniversary
June 7
- Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester had its 175th
Anniversary parade today in celebration of this milestone.
The parade route was through the borough of West Chester and
many area companies competed for parade honors. The Good
Will is a 100% volunteer fire service since 1833. Many of
the Good Will firefighters also volunteer and support Good
Fellowship as well.

Auto Accident
June 6 -
Good
Fellowship Ambulance was dispatched with Medic 91 and Stations
51 and 53 to Rt 926 / Westbourne Rd for an auto accident with
entrapment. First reports by WCFD officers stated one
patient confined in vehicle. Vehicle was stabilized and
patient was removed from passenger side. Patient was
transported to Chester County Hospital ER with Medic 91 onboard. |

Welcome Dr. John Chovanes, New
Medical Director!
June 1
-We would like to introduce Dr. John Chovanes, DO
as our new Medical Director. Dr. Chovanes is a Trauma Surgeon
at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and Reading
Hospitals. He began his medical career in EMS and is a former
EMT, Paramedic and Registered Nurse. He brings with him a
wealth of knowledge and we welcome him to the team! |
