 Listed below are several American Heart Association CPR and/or First Aid courses offered at Good Fellowship. Please review the courses to determine which is best for you. Courses are scheduled periodically however may be canceled due to lack of enrollment. If a course is canceled the student will be contacted. All persons are required to complete the skills associated with each course to pass.

Course:

BLS for Healthcare Providers

 

Course Length:

4.5 hours

 

Course Description:

BLS for Healthcare Providers covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.

 

Audience:

For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses and respiratory therapists who must have a credential card documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

 

Card Type:

BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card: expect to receive the card 4-6 weeks following completion of the course.  2 year certification.

Course:

Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Infant & Child

 

Course Length:

 3 - 4 hours

 

Course Description:

The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, infant CPR and relief of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages.

 

Audience:

For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

 

Card Type:

Heartsaver CPR/AED Course Completion Card: expect to receive the card 4-6 weeks following completion of the course.  2 year certification.

Course:

Heartsaver First Aid additional charge for CPR

 

Course Length:

4.5 hours for First Aid / 6 Hours with CPR

 

Course Description:

The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

 

Audience:

For those who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

 

Card Type:

Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card: expect to receive the card 4-6 weeks following completion of the course. 2 year certification.

 

Fee:

 First Aid Only: $65.00 / With CPR add $10.00

Course:

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

Optional: Infant CPR with mask

 

Course Length:

4.5  hours

 

Course Description:

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.

 

Audience:

For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, camp counselors, youth organizations and coaches for children's sports organizations.

 

Card Type:

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course Completion Card: expect to receive the card 4-6 weeks following completion of the course.  2 year certification.

 

Fee:

First Aid Only: $65.00 / With CPR add $10.00
