Notes

An alternative to traditional, classroom-based ACLS training, the self-directed HeartCode(TM) ACLS eLearning program uses eSimulation technology to let students participate in realistic patient scenarios, assess patients, and formulate treatment — online and at their your pace. As they train, an evaluation mechanism and quick debriefing provide students with immediate and objective feedback on whether their actions were correct or incorrect and offered suggestions for improvement. Other features include the ability to treat multiple rhythms, (mega code) in the same scenario; a new respiratory arrest case; a new code clock; a team dynamics lesson; a precourse self-assessment that helps students gauge their knowledge of ECG recognition and pharmacology; access to patient scenarios and text material for up to two years; and the full text (in PDF form) of the ACLS Provider Manual, the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines For CPR And ECC, and the ACLS Core Drugs reference guide.

Card Type: Advanced Life Support Course Completion Card: expect to receive the card via email following completion of the skills portion of the course.  2 year certification.
