Located within our main station (600 Montgomery Avenue, West Chester), our live-in program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to have free housing in exchange for service as an EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic.
Our Live-In Program Provides You:

Experience:
Good Fellowship is the largest and busiest EMS organization in Chester County, PA, uniquely delivering emergency medical services to the community in a combination career/volunteer system
Live-Ins have access to Good Fellowship’s top-performing EMS education institute that trains thousands of individuals every year. Live-ins benefit from no-cost continuing education programs and cutting-edge simulation experiences. Live-ins may also transition into instructor roles in the educational institute if they choose to.
Program Requirements:
Live-ins must be certified as an EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic and complete Good Fellowship’s field training program.
Live-ins cover 18 hours weekly (Sun-Sat) of scheduled time as a volunteer EMT, AEMT or Paramedic.
We allow for flexible 6 or 12 hour day and/or night shifts that are scheduled at least one month in advance.
Additional hours / call coverage during busy times will enable the resident to benefit from our Volunteer Incentive Point program, providing uniform items and/or gift cards.
One relief week (week off) is provided for every 16 weeks of live-in time.
