Good Fellowship Ambulance provides basic, intermediate, and advanced life support services to ten municipalities, including the Borough of West Chester and the townships of West Goshen, East Goshen, Westtown, East Bradford, West Bradford, West Whiteland, Thornbury, Birmingham, and Newlin. As the largest and busiest EMS agency in Chester County, our teams are set to respond to over 9,500 emergency calls annually, utilizing state-of-the-art BLS, IALS, and ALS transport units, as well as ALS intercept units.

Minimum Employment Requirements for all EMT, Advanced EMT and Paramedic Positions:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age prior to date of hire
  • Pennsylvania Department of Health – EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification
  • Valid drivers license (issued minimum of 18 months prior to date of hire)
    • Pennsylvania Department of Health EMSVO credential preferred
    • Approved EVOC certificate preferred / will provide if not
  • Valid Healthcare Provider CPR
  • ICS 100 & NIMS 700
  • Hazardous Materials Awareness training
  • Paramedics – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Paramedics – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • All required internal training will be completed during field training
  • Employees are subject to PSP Patch, FBI and PA ChildLine background checks
